Innovative FES Technology

Unlike an AFO, which mechanically supports foot movement, our FES device uses low-frequency electrical pulses to stimulate the peroneal nerve. This stimulation triggers muscle contractions that help lift the foot naturally. Additionally, it supports muscle strength, enhances flexibility, and helps prevent atrophy. However, if peripheral nerve damage is present, the device may not be effective in restoring mobility.

Customizable Treatment Protocols

Our FES device allows users to fine-tune specific treatment settings for optimal comfort and effectiveness. These personalized protocols can be saved for future sessions, ensuring quick and efficient therapy each time.

Compact, Lightweight, and Easy to Wear

The MStim Drop LGT-233 is designed for convenience, measuring just 59(L) x 59(W) x 22(H) mm and weighing only 60g. This compact size ensures it can be comfortably worn in a cuff below the knee without hindering movement, making it ideal for everyday use.

Integrated Smart Sensor

A standout feature of the MStim Drop LGT-233 is its built-in smart sensor. This sensor accurately detects gait events, delivering precise stimulation to assist in foot clearance and measuring walking distance to support rehabilitation goals.

App-Based Control

With the Longest “MStim Drop” app, available for download on iOS and Android, users can connect via Bluetooth for enhanced control and a user-friendly experience. The app provides real-time monitoring of walking angles and distances, ensuring continuous feedback for improved outcomes.

Energy-Efficient Design

Equipped with a rechargeable battery that provides over 4 hours of operation per charge, the device reduces the need for frequent replacements, offering a cost-effective and eco-friendly solution.

FES and Foor Drop Assistance

Our device is applicable for patients suffering foot drop caused by:

  • MS, stroke, spinal cord injury, peripheral neuropathy, and other neurological diseases
  • Injury of Tibialis Anterior

FES and Foot Drop Assistance

Based on the principle of Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES), this device is designed to assist with ankle dorsiflexion in adults and children experiencing foot drop due to an injury or condition affecting the Upper Neuromotor System. During the swing phase of walking, it delivers electrical stimulation to the muscles in the lower leg, promoting dorsiflexion. This may help improve walking patterns, support muscle reeducation, prevent or reduce disuse atrophy, enhance joint range of motion, alleviate pain, and boost local blood circulation.

Rehabilitation and Function - 2 modes of use

Our MStim Drop device supports dorsiflexion by electrically stimulating the muscles in the affected lower leg and offers two distinct treatment modes: training and walking.

Training mode is designed for patients transitioning from passive to active movement. This mode is used for muscle conditioning while seated or lying down. It helps accelerate muscle recovery, slow down calf muscle atrophy, maintain and enhance ankle mobility, and improve local blood flow.

Walking mode provides electrical stimulation to assist with foot drop during walking, aiding in the restoration of normal gait patterns. This repeated stimulation helps train the cerebral cortex, delivering feedback to the central nervous system and supporting the recovery of neuromotor function.
